Last night our group of friends went to the Brandi Carlile concert at the beautiful Hoyt Sherman Place. What an amazing venue and an outstanding performer! I came across this Nikon contest and wanted to pass it along to you! Unfortunetly, it't too late to enter but some of the videos are really cool! Basically people had to capture their day in 140 seconds - the grand prize was $100,000! DAG, I wish I would have found this site earlier - anyways, it's pretty cool so I suggest checking out some of the videos.

So not only are we dog-sitting for Olive, but my mom just got two adorable kittens! Tina the grey one and LuLu the Black one - it has just been a day full of pets, and I like it. I was pretty surprised that my mom got these two little rascals but so happy she did - she has had a pretty rough year and she totally deserves them - all I had was my iphone so the pics are not so great, but there will definitely be more to come!

Olive, what a sweet little pooch! We are dog sitting my cousin Haley's, adorable Boston Terrier, Olive for one full week. She was a little shy last night and decided the safest place was in the corner of the kitchen. We think she might be a little scared of the birds. Eventually she made it over to the couch but she was reluctant - it's going to be an interesting evening since we are expecting 8-12 inches of snow and the little tyke is only about 8 inches tall herself.   

Last weekend I took a trip down to Nashville to celebrate my friend Anabel’s baby. She is 8 months preggers and seems to be having a pretty smooth pregnancy. It was a quick trip down south but we had a great time, not only was it fantastic to see Prenanabel but friends Kate Walker, Briget Ganske, and Elizabeth (nina) Child were able to fly in for the festivities. It’s always fun to catch up with old high school friends and hear all the fun and interesting things going on in their lives. I am very excited for Anabel and Cam – they are going to be awesome parents. Here are a few photos from the trip – see more on my flickr site.

Scott and I went to New York last weekend. We got to hang out with our friends Liza and Nika, eat some delicious food, and Scott got to run the New York Marathon! It was Halloween weekend so there were plenty of crazy costumes and yummy sweets. Here are a few photos from the trip – head over to my flickr page to check out the rest of the set!
